World HeritageHallStatt is a stunning beautiful small town by the lake. You can easily see why it has been recognised as a World Heritage site. You need to take a short boat ride from the Hallstatt train station to the town on the other side of the lake. There is a salt mine (the oldest in the world) that you can explore.
