Musical Recommendation:

Broadway classic musical "Hello, Dolly!", brought to you by the Hong Kong Singers.

Show: "Hello, Dolly!"
Production house: Hong Kong Singers
Date and time: 2:30pm Saturday 3 November, 2001
Venue: Hong Kong City Hall - Theatre

"Hello, Dolly!" is a lively mix of humour, romance, song and dance, telling the tale of Dolly Levi, a mischievous widow whose favourite pastime is matchmaking...

The Hong Kong Singers were founded in 1931 and have since presented more than 100 musicals, including "Anything Goes", "The King and I" and "42nd Street" (which I have all watched and enjoyed very much).

How was Hiking 01#06 Wong Nai Chung Gap to Repulse Bay

Trip plan: Walk from the War Memorial on Wong Nai Chung Gap via Tai Tam Reservoir and Tsin Shui Wan Au to Repulse Bay.  For most of the trip you could almost believe you are in Switzerland, New Zealand, Chile or wherever there is that perfect blend of mountains, lakes and a sky relected in the water. Remember to bring plenty of drinks and snacks

Trip report: It took us a little while to figure out the right trail, we finally found it and were happy to confirm that it would only take us 1 instead of 2 hours as we originally planned. We didn't go all the way to Repulse Bay but instead went to Stanley by bus from Tai Hang Road at the junction where we left Tai Tam Reservoir. We had very nice chat over afternoon tea at Stanley.
