Meeting place: Ticket counter of Tai Po KCR Rail Station
Difficulty: 1 (1-5, 1 = easy)

Description:
This is also a very easy hike. From Tai Po station,
the bus no. 275R (weekend and holiday only) will
take you all the way to the Bridal Pool and
no. 75 will
take you to Tai Mei Doe and takes about 40 mins to get to Bridal Pool. We'll
take the 275R. After visiting the Bridal Pool and Fall, we will hike our
way to the Mirror Pool and Fall which are also very impressive. We can spend
a relax afternoon at the pool before returning the same path to catch the
bus back to Tai Po Station.

The weather was really nice, warm but not hot. We enjoyed sweet Tu Fu

Trip
plan
by Jean:
10:00 Gather at Choi Hung
10:15 Choi Hung to Sai Kung
10:45 Have breakfast / lunch in Sai Kung
11:30 Sai Kung to Hoi Ha Wan
12:00 Swim and snorkeling
14:45 Clean up and leave Hoi Ha Wan
|
Trip report:
It was a very hot Sunday. What better things to do than to spend some
time snorkeling? Hoi Ha Wan is a very very popular place. There were so
many people, we managed to find a local store to safekeep our bags and
used there shower facilities (HK$15 each). Many people went there for
snorkeling too. You will find some coral, crab, fish, sea orchid etc very
close to the shore, so you don't have to go far. As a diver, I wanted
to see much more. Maybe we can organise a scuba diving trip?
